I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York in 2003 and have cooked everywhere from San Francisco to Telluride to Austin. I have an obsession with experimental baking, nutrition, healthy diets and everything relating to a kitchen.
As formally trained pastry chef, my relationship with food changed when I adopted a paleo lifestyle. I now see food as something healing that directly affects my health and how I am able to live as an athlete, wife, writer, and especially a cook.
Good paleo recipes are definitely out there, but there’s not many of them. My goal is to take paleo cooking and bring it to another level- I want foodies/chefs/and the paleo novice to be impressed with just how good a paleo meal can be so that this diet change isn’t so daunting.
